Custom Hello Kitty Camera Strap from Marine Parents

I can't believe I forgot to post this! I just found this in my draft folder, so I am sharing it now.

I love, love, love my dSLR camera strap from Marine Parents Etsy shop. 

I have been eyeing them for a bit and decided it was time to special order a custom Hello Kitty one.  

I even added a special pocket for my lens cover, that I seem to loose all the time

She has a lot more than camera straps too, she makes pouches, bags, purses, toddler backpacks (that are super cute!) and she does flash sales on pouches on her instagram @mppouchsale as well as on her main account @marine_parents

I do love Marine Parents shop, but I also have special love for her because she is in Okinawa, and if you have been around long enough you know just how much I feel about Okinawa. Also even though she is in Okinawa, shipping was quite fast, and I was very impressed.

My Birthday

At the end of July I celebrated my 29th birthday. It was a great day, full of sleeping in and watching TV, I got myself hooked on watching Nip Tuck. That night Paul got home and took me to a nice dinner. we went to the nice steakhouse in town called Silver Star. It was pretty good. very expensive, but pretty good. For an appitizer we had crab cakes and calamari (yum!) and for dinner I had a bison steak and Paul had seared tuna.






Paul got me an awesome Hello Kitty wallet, a neato HK lanyard thing for me to wear my work name tag on, and a HK phone cover. Yeah, someone has a little bit of a Hello Kitty problem.




My sister got me the cutest HK booties and a piggy pen and some cute cupcake wrappers and a bunch of nips (she works at a liquor store.)




and then later that week I got to hang out with the Marines at the county fair. My Paul is the one in the uniform in the backround.

my love of Hello Kitty is not turning into an un-healthy obsession. 

these are merely cute little pots that will be perfect for cooking Top Ramen and heating up canned veggies and dips.

the pot with the one long handle holds about 4 cups and the other with the two side handles holds about 6 cups, and they are so damn cute!

(dont look too closely though, you may see my Hello Kitty chopsticks, and that would blow my cover as a non-obsessed fan)
