Being a housewife is boring, though sometimes i wish i still worked, just so i would have something to do every day, i am glad i have the time i do, and the house is cleaner, and dinner is cooked more, but we also dont have the money we used to, we arnt broke but were cutting it tight here.
i went to the doc today, got a flu shot, right now i feel like crap, i'm going to b

another quick project done, now perhaps i can get back to my christmas knitting.

Thanksgiving

Nov 21st i went with Paul to a Springfield Falcons hockey game. he was doing Toys for Tots and i thought it would be fun. it was.
22nd this is our Thanksgiving set up

and thats about it, we had Mike and Tiffany & their kids over, they made the turkey and potatoes. Turkey was fried and it was delish! thats about it, today is our anniversary, Paul wants to go shopping, its also black Friday, i think he's nuts but he's my husband i must keep him happy.

tomorrow is Thanksgiving

and i have successfully completed nothing. i suck. my laundry still needs to be finished. my living room looks like a bomb went off, my dining room table is covered in crap (not real crap of course) and what am i doing sitting here blogging listening to whitesnake. i am a looser, i also slept in until 1030 which is completely unacceptable, tomorrow i need to get up at like 7, i think i may be going to a hockey game tonight though if Paul can get another ticket. that would be super exciting. okay i am really gonna go try and clean now. maybe i'll post pictures later.

stupid snow

i think i have been being avoided by the snow. my last wish here in this godforsaken town is to see a good snow before i leave, one last time, chances are i will never live in an area that snows again, and if i do it will be many years down the road. though i still have a few weeks left i think my hopes may be fruitless. today it was supposed to snow (as well as many days in the past week) while the forecast still calls for a possibility, there are no damn clouds in the sky.
so on to more productive activities.
today i need to:
1. put away my laundry.
2. pick up the bedroom
3. pack some old clothes
4. finish the dishes
5. take some pictures

so i just finished Harry Potter, i am now done with the entire series. that makes me quite sad. i dont know what i will do now! i guess i can now devote my late nights to knitting. sigh.... i am a cranky B today. but its supposed to snow tomorrow. yeah right, we have been calling for snow all week and it has yet to arrive, i doubt it will come. elusive snow you have avoided me again.

Irish Hiking Scarf II

not much, started my second Irish Hiking scarf for MIL (still have yet to finish first one but i am about a third of the way through it) and yeah thats about it, saw meg & tony last night, she is prego, getting big, its so cute. i want a baby.
here is what MIL scarf will look like its in Cascade 220 Heathers in an olive green shade. reminds me of what an Irish hiking scarf should look like.

okay so i didn't take alot of pictures but we had fun, i drank too much, we went to a bar after the ball, i drank more, we went home i decided i wanted to take a shower. i fell, i knocked my noggin pretty bad. i feel like an idiot. i have a doctors appt tomorrow and i am babysitting the rest of the week. i like kids, they are cute.
