I've been living under a rock

I am fairly certain when this show started I was in Japan. Now thanks to DirecTV i've got no local channels and i've been totally missing out.

So just now I've discovered:

This show is so awesome. 

I like the recognizable characters too. 

Leonard and Leslie Winkle are both from the Rosanne. 

Penny is from 8 Simple Rules

I love the whole cast. They work so well together and are just hilarious.

I am so excited when I bring it home from work each day. It's mine and Paul's new show. 

We are watching it from the beginning, so we've started with season 1 and we are already working through season 2. I've been renting it but I like it so much I may buy it.

Winter has to wait

I am very happy that winter is waiting at least a few more days. We had a little chill in the air for a few days last week, and our lows were in the low 30's. I was getting scared. But I am happy that the temps are warm again, even if only for a few days.

My Job

I don't talk a whole bunch specifically about my job, mostly because I don't want anything I say to bite me in the ass later. 
I work (primarily) in the video department of a store that sells entertainment. Movies, books, music, video games and some miscellaneous shit. I say primarily because I often work the other departments too, but I am mostly the video girl. I like my job, I like what I do, and the people I work for. I even like some of the people I work with. 
I often get asked for suggestions. "What's a good comedy?" or "Any good action flicks out?" I feel bad because, yeah I work in the video dept. but I am not by any means a connoisseur of movies. I am not a movie buff. I watch movies because they are cheep, and I get a decent employee discount.
 It's not that I don't enjoy movies, because I do. But I can't think of the last movie I watched that I didn't like. Oh wait yes I can. Ninjas Vs. Zombies.   Terribly shitty B movie. But anyway. I watch movies and I like them, but I don't love them. I just watched Bridesmaids 2 nights ago, and I liked it, but it wasn't amazing. They show most of the good parts in the previews. 
I work with a guy who is really passionate about movies. He was telling me about how Transformers sucks and nothing like what it's supposed to be. I just don't get it. I enjoyed the movies. I thought they were awesome. Well the girl in the most recent one has terrible lips, but that didn't ruin the movie, well not really. 
Sometimes I wish I cared that much, I wish I could retain the information to really get excited about movies. The only time a movie pisses me off is when it's a shitty adaptation of a book, and usually they are pretty good, Even the Harry Potter ones do a decent job. 
So yeah, I this post didn't go much of anywhere. I just felt like typing tonight.

Blue Valentine

I just watched this movie, and holy shit is it depressing. It took me several days to finish it because I just don't seem to have a lot of time to just sit and watch a movie. I like movies where I can do more than just watch the movie, like knit or do some chores. Well this movie isn't like that. You have to pay attention. It goes back and forth in time but only about 7 years. So the characters don't change a whole lot in appearance. So if you don't pay attention it it's hella confusing. But I finished it and now I am sad. I hope I never end up like that.

MilSpouse Friday Fill-in

My plans for Labor Day included __hiking with the doggies , but what really happened was working, and hiking with the doggies.

Call me crazy, but sometimes I just need to watch trashy tv (RHWOBH is back!). 

One of the funniest things I’ve seen lately is  when i dressed the dogs up in their halloween costumes earlier this week, oh my!. 

It’s strange, but other peoples feet drives me crazy while mine is perfectly fine with me!
