i just figured out what was wrong with my blog and why blogger wasn't working through Google Chrome. I had downloaded a chrome extension that was somehow causing blogger to FAIL. But I have undone it and things are full of win again!

Shit I hate.... i am starting to hate working, not my job, just working. I like my job. But I feel like I don't have time for anything.

16. What's the longest shift that you worked at a job?
9 hours. I've never worked a job where i'd be required to work additional shifts. i've never worked somewhere that needed coverage so bad that they would torture someone like that. Now i have worked several days in a row, like 14-15 without a day off. 


17. What was the last concert that you attended?
Real concert? Vans Warped Tour 2007 (2006?) but we saw a few smaller shows in Okinawa. 


18. What the last DVD (or Blu Ray, of course) movie that you watched?
I just watched 'Your Highness' last night. And right now I am watching 'Bleach' on DVD. 


19. How did you like the film?
'Your Highness' was hilarious. Bleach is always awesome. 


20. What comedian do you love?
Chelsea Handler. 


21. Do you ever sleep in the nude?
No


22. Have you ever had a long distance relationship?
I was in one with my husband before we got married.

sure, why not?

worked, then had some food, then worked, and made a prime rib, now i'm having some vodka.

Only when i tell inappropriate jokes. which i have a few times.

1.   My most favorite birthday was       my 26th, well my second 26th. the surprise party that my girlfriends threw for me in Okinawa (i think it was the year i really turned 27)!   .

2.  My worst birthday was    I don't think i've ever had  a bad birthday  .

3.  My favorite birthday memory is     Again, my surprise party in Okinawa, that was awesome  .

4.  The best birthday present I've ever received was   oh i suck at remembering shit like this .

5.  The  best birthday present I've ever given was      Okay, this one was an accident but I sent April her thank-you gift, but it took me forever to get into the mail, and then when i finally did it showed up the day before her birthday!  .

6.  Birthdays are       awesome. I am a giver and i love birthdays and giving gifts and doing special things for people. even though my special things are often late, like way late, but it's the thought that counts, right?   .

7.  My favorite age so far has been       26, this year I turned 26 for the third time. maybe next year I'll turn 27, but i'll probably just turn 26 again  . 

Naughty Panda and how to clean up her mess

(that's what we call Aiko when she is bad. she's my naughty panda)

Sometimes little miss princess pants has accidents. When she is home alone all day and she has to go she goes. But she has a tendency to go where i don't know, in a place that we won't find right away.

 In the old house it was at the top of the stairs. In this house it's in the spare room. well now we block that off during the day so she only has access to the living room and kitchen and the accidents have stopped. I have cleaned up her mess, but there has been a faint odor that lingers, especially on hot days.

then i found: 

this stuff is amazing. i followed the directions and poured it on my carpet and let it dry and now the smell is gone! so for anyone who has a pet that has occasional pee pee accidents i strongly recommend this stuff!

What is a Green Monster?

well besides that thing that only baseball fans know about, there is a thing going around the blog world, in health-blog rings called a Green Monster. Upon further investigation I learned that it's a smoothie that looks like baby shit. It's not supposed to taste like shit, but it looks like shit, and i have a hard time with the idea of eating something that looks like shit. But in the never ending quest for health and weight loss, i decided i would try to make one. i am sick of bagel thins for breakfast and wanted to mix it up a little. 
so here goes: MY BABY SHIT SMOOTHIE


a hand full of spinach
4-5 raspberries 
3 strawberries 
1 heaping spoon of flax seed
about 1 cup of coconut water
a few ice cubes


blended in my Magic Bullet until smooth


and.... 

yep that looks like shit to me. 


it really wasn't bad, it tasted like watered down strawberries, i thought about adding some sugar free sweetener but I wanted to keep it as natural as possible. I think i'll maybe have another for lunch. 

i used fresh berries but almost all the recipes i saw called for frozen, well i didn't have frozen. But I did just take all the fruit i had and packaged it for freezing.

1. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
a princess, you can see how that turned out. i think i just wanted to be happy, which i am. 

2. Most people go through several phases in life. What is the one phase you went through that you now look back on and wonder what the hell were you thinking?
the much older guys phase. seriously the only reason a 21yr old dates a 17yr old is because he wants to get in her pants, not be her prom date. 

3. Have you ever been in a long distance relationship?
when Paul and i met it began as a casual long distance thing. but quickly evolved into more, and as soon as he got his orders to move even further from me i told him i was going with him. 7 years later and we are still going strong, this year we celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. 

4. What are five inanimate objects can you not live without?
iPhone, toothbrush (and toothpaste), flip flops, tweezers, a watch.

5. Are you superstitious?
sort of, i guess you can call it that, I am OCD and i feel that if things aren't done a certain way that the bad vibes in the universe will attack me. like when i leave the house or go to bed, i have to have all the light switches facing the same direction. 

6. What is one of your talents?
i can put my legs behind my head.

7. What is your favorite animal?
elephant :)

8. Heels or flats?
i love both but i wear flats more often because i work on my feet and i would die in heels for an 8 hour shift. 

9. What's you favorite season?
all of them but snow. 

10. Out of all the places you have lived, what has been your favorite?

Okinawa, Japan. hands down, for sure. I have never in my life lived somewhere more awesome. I hope we can live there again someday.

okay i can't find more than 6 blogs that i follow that follow me back. I know hard to believe huh? well i am sure i am forgetting someone and for that I am sorry. and i don't want to re-tag ones that Destiny already tagged. 

any way the facts of life: 

1. i care way too much what people think of me. i am way to worried that people won't like me or will be mad at me. i hate this about myself, but i cannot seem to change it. 
2. i am pretty lazy. i have a hard time getting off my ass to do anything. but i am mostly okay with that.
3. i love naps. 
4. i also love to cook. 
5. i sort of want to nap right now, but i need to start dinner.
6. i am a hypochondriac and also afraid to go to the doctor because i think they think i am a hypochondriac. whenever i think something has gotten bad enough to go to the doctor it always seems to stop ailing me just before my appt, then i feel like an ass, just wasting the doctors time. often i just wait until the pain is ER worthy, but even then (like the kidney stone they think i passed a few months ago) i finally go to the ER and then the pain stops. 
7. every single time i type the word until, i spell it unitl the first time i type it, i think my right hand types faster than my left so the i just sneaks in before the t.
